The contents clean with light spotting to the blank end papers, the binding shows some light rubbing to corners a very good + copy of a title rarely found in this condition. Although not a stalking book Landseer was particularly associated with Scotland, and the Highlands particular, which provided the subjects (both human and animal) for many of his important paintings including many of a stalking or deer theme including The Monarch of the Glen.
