This copy does not have the erasure and footnote on page 441. In Classic Angling magazine No 41, an article on Buller books, by David Beazly from information provided by Fred Buller, notes this edition was not numbered "some copies possibly a quarter of the edition are signed by the authors and dated October 75, most are not". This corresponds to copies we have handled in the past. The May date is that quoted for the author's edition of a limitation of 25, this copy does not stipulate a limitation number, possibly this is a pre publication copy before the mistake on page 441 was noticed.
