Recased in the original publishers brown patterned cloth, pictorial front boards with native scene in silver and black with gilt palm tree with an unfortunate man tied to the tree, the spines titled in gilt with oval vignette portrait of Major Casati. A very good, copy translated from the original Italian manuscript, an account of Casati's travel and adventure in Southern Sudan with much on the flora and fauna of the region.
