132 pages, illustrated with line drawings by "Hary", publisher's orange cloth binding, lettered in red on the spine and with red title panel to the front board. In Dj the DJ has small chips to head and tail of the spine. The contents and covers VG+ copy of a scarce title and seldom found in this condition due to the "War Economy Standard" at the time. Faibairn spent over 30 years in the Shanghai Municipal Police where he oversaw the famous Riots Squads and was their Chief Instructor in self-defense" he was also co-designer of the Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, instructions for which the use of are contained in the book. Walbridge is a weapon training officer and well known for his prowess with the rifle, he details the use of the rifle and bayonet. Many of the drawings in the book show combat situations with British soldiers and German soldiers apart from hand-to-hand fighting Fairbairn details the use of the knife.
