The contents clean and tight, publisher's green cloth with gilt title to the upper cover within ruled border, even fading to spine, some small chips to tail of spine. An important record of deer with fine hand coloured lithograph plates by J Smit. Seldom found in very good condition in the original cloth which is often badly faded. There are 5 Rowland Ward titles published in the series by Lydekker from 1898 to 1907, all were limited editions. ?1850
