The contents clean and tight, publisher's green cloth with gilt title to the upper cover within ruled border, light even fading to spine. A very good copy with fine hand coloured lithograph plates by J Smit. Seldom found in very good condition in the original cloth which is often badly faded. There are 5 Rowland Ward published titles in the series by Lydekker from 1898 to 1907, all were limited editions.
