VI 240 pages, engraved frontis, ownership inscription for John Yerbury 1821, frontis offset to title page, contemporary full calf, rubbing to corners and edges with some loss, spine chipped at head and spine edge, but still a tight copy. The book covers game cocks, cock fighting, horses, hare and fox hunting, rabbits, otters, bird catching, canary birds, partridges and pheasant, pigeon shooting and angling. The 1st edition is particularly scarce, Chute 206, Schwerdt Vol 1 169/70. The angling section extends to 50 pages.
