VI 240 pages, engraved frontis, even age browning to contents, ownership name written 3 times to verso of title, Richard Welles 1781, then Richard Welles Broughton March 5 (x2), circular bookplate of Alan Jarvis to front paste down, later full calf binding not recent, old spine relayed showing some chipping with loss, a g+ copy. The book covers game cocks, cock fighting, horses, hare and fox hunting, rabbits, otters, bird catching, canary birds, partridges and pheasant, pigeon shooting and angling. The 1st edition is particularly scarce, Chute 206, Schwerdt Vol 1 169/70. The angling section extends to 50 pages.
