Ownership name to front paste down and dated 1883 with corresponding armorial bookplate to end paper There is also a faint signature with date to upper blank margin of the ? tile. To verso of front-end paper an early handwritten copy of Col Hawkers reference to the book taken from the ninth edition of his work. Both inner hinges were neatly strengthened with cloth. Bound in the publishers blind stamped olive-green cloth, showing rubbing to head tail of the spine and part spine edge a vg ? copy. Much on practical instructions for every description of inland and coast shooting. Hawker believed Lacy plagiarized his work. Lacy did spend some time with Hawkers puntsman. Riling 522, Chute 377.
