One of a limited edition of 950 copies, this being No 754, bound in 1/4 brown morroco with a gilt stag's head and title to the upper cover in the publisher's slipcase, personal presentation inscription to the front-end paper ,a fine copy. Balfour Browne is considered one of the foremost painters of red deer and stalking scenes. He was also a keen student of stalking and the letters that he left provided a lot of good advice for any stalker.
