Publishers' green cloth, with leather title label to spine, a vg copy. limited to 350 numbered copies, this being no 25, FREDERICK M HALFORD COPY. Presentation inscription from Arthur N Gilbey on the limitation page to Halford, Gilbey a member Houghton fishing club from 1896 and served on the committee with Halford in in 1897, later becoming, treasurer and secretary, to the club. An ardent fisher and friend of Halford Described in Tony Hayters book on Halford "Gilbey already one of the most expert of the new school of chalk stream anglers" and the man who presided over this revolution was F. M. Halford. A very good copy with an excellent provenance.
