lv -253 pp, frontis portrait of Stigand, two folding maps bound in the text, and text maps, with a large folding map at the rear. Personal presentation inscription to the front-end paper. Publishers' olive-green cloth clean and bright in DJ. DJ a few chips to edges 5 cm split to front fold couple of strengthening tape marks to verso of the DJ. A very good+ copy of a reasonably hard to find title and more so in a DJ. Stigand a hunter, tracker and explorer of extraordinary ability. He was also Governor of the Mongalla Province in which the Lado Enclave was located. He describes the people, tribal customs in detail, the various districts, the countryside, Emile Pasha, and the future.
