Also pasted to the rear end papers of both volumes, part maps of Lake Nyassa, and Bangweolo which are not called for in the map lists. The front paste downs have signs of a library or bookplate being removed, but no library marks to the contents. Publishers red cloth, with title in black to upper board with pictorial insert of campfire scene to both volumes. Cloth very clean and bright with no bumps or chips. The only defect is a small mark below the volume number, possibly where a library number has been removed. The book contains a variety of sporting incidents after elephant near the Semliki River and Lake Albert as well as buffalo, and lion . With a chapter describing types of antelope encountered in the region. Czech 172.
