Contemporary full tan calf binding with gilt crest to upper cover, small chipping to the head of the spine, light rubbing to edges, some darkening to the edge of the covers, the binding and contents tight with no splits. Based on Campbells journal and notes collected on his numerous travels and shooting trips in India. He describes hunting tiger, panther, antelope, bison, bear etc. He describes beats for tiger, hunting them from elephant and horseback, the latter with spear. Czech 42
