Ownership bookplate off ,Cyril,F Parker Skirwith Abbey to the front paste down and his name in ink to the front end paper. A very good clean copy in the original light brown cloth, gilt title and salmon fly to the upper cover. Includes pattern of salmon flies, tackle, wading etc., also Thames trout, chub fishing on the Thames, difficult to find in the original binding in vg condition. The colour plates of flies are particularly fine. The first edition appeared in 1892 in a cream cloth the cloth is often found darkened.
