Bookplate of Raymond L Riling to the front paste down. Publisher blue pictorial paper covered boards, rubbing to edges and corners , later cloth spine with leather title label. A scarce title and more so coming from Ray Rilings collection. The upper cover shows a soldier fighting with a pistol in hand, to rear cover a pistol in back. Dove recounts in the preliminary pages fighting and using the revolver in the recent Indian Mutiny.
