Volume 5 no 1 Spring 1920 to no 8 Winter 1921 ? 22 196pp (4pp) index bound at the front. At the end 8 pp list of members followed by, Charles . A . N. Walton, Fly Fishers Ephemeridae 19pp "reprinted from the Journal of the Flyfishers Club, A.D. 1921". Volume 6 numbered on the spine, the journal Volume 11 no 41 Spring 1922, note from the editor ref change "The reason is this. It has been considered better there should be a volume a year." To vol 11 no 44 Winter 1922 -23 116pp including index bound in. At the front "Catalogue of Fishing Tackle, The property The Late Rev. G. L Blake R.N. To be sold by Auction at the Flyfishers Club May 1922". Bound with Volume 12 no 45 Spring 1923 to vol 12 no 48 Winter 23 ? 24 108 pp followed by members list for 1923 and 1924 both with separate pagination. Most volumes with photographic portraits of leading anglers including Halford and Senior with obituary, also drawings occasional text illustrations, the contents clean and tight. All volumes bound in a contemporary ? tan calf with lime green cloth covered boards gilt title to upper cover bound by Tresises Binders, Burton - On -Trent. The spine to volume 1 heavily rubbed with cracking to spine edges in places contents and binding remain tight. The other volumes show some surface rubbing in places with some dust soiling to the cloth. The first 6 volumes of Flyfishers Club possible the most famous fishing club in the world. With the contributions of some of the great anglers of the time, edited by Martin Mosely A.C. Kent and R.B. Marston, the journal carried on thorough the difficult war years although having to be checked by Whitehall before publication.
