Colour frontispiece and four other coloured illustrations, together with many others full page and text illustrations from pencil sketches, sepia watercolours etc by Snaffles. One of an unspecified limited editions this being No 45 with the coloured hunting scene print bookplate to the front paste down signed and numbered by Snaffles. Some off sett browning to the front and rear end paper from the glassine DJ the glassine discoloured. Bound in the publishers ? red leather with matching red cloth covered boards. Original card slipcase some fading marking and wear to edges and corners. Snaffles reminiscences in the army with life and sport in India, the war years, shooting, fox hunting, horse racing etc.
