Publishers' green cloth gilt title and game animal vignettes within decorative borders, blind stamp decorations to the spine. Couple of small chips to head and tail of the spine and to front spine edge. The 1st edition of 1838 was published in Bombay under a different title, this is the 1st London Edition. VG- a difficult to get in the original cloth in good condition. A classic title on African hunting, a detailed picture of South African game fields prior to the growing pressure of civilization.
