Frontis portrait of the author and 43 full page illustrations from photographs and photogravure plates on India paper, + text illustration. Armorial bookplate of Paxton Parkins to the front paste. The contents clean and free of foxing. Bound in full dark-green crushed morocco, decorated borders and corner pieces to inner boards. Gilt title to upper board within ruled borders, the spine with five raised bands, with gilt angling motifs to compartments and title. Two small 1cm bruises to rear board the binding in a fine condition. The large paper edition of Frederic M. Halford's autobiography.
