2 volumes, large 8vo, erratic pagination, both volumes illustrated with colour lithographs of the birds + b/w plates, the Snipe has 4 coloured and 3 b/w, the Bustard 4 colour and 3 b/w. Each volume has a dedicated title page, presentation inscription to top blank margin, The Snipe " J Rodick Esq With the authors love and best wishes E .C. Stuart Baker" a similar inscription to Rodick on front end paper of The Bustard but dated 1913, bound in contemporary green cloth, red leather title label, old splash mark to rear board of the Snipe . One would assume Baker had these specially produced with a private title page possibly just for presentation. I have been unable to locate other copies.
