xv 445 pages + (4)pp advs, TEG, illustrations consist of 8 etchings with two impressions of each on different paper + 74 text woodcuts on India paper, publishers blue green cloth, gilt Walton cartouche to upper board, gilt title and 3 fish vignette to the white parchment spine with date to bottom of spine, some mottling to the spine, lower front outer corner rubbed through cloth. Martsons supplement to Bibliotheca Piscatorial 8vo 31s 6d and crown 8vo 8s 6d. This book would therefore be the expensive issue, if the smaller edition existed it is probable that the plates did not have duplicates and that the woodcuts were on India paper.
