4to., engraved frontis + 71 full page engraved plates, plates numbered 1 to 70, there are 2 plates numbered 17 in the hunting section, they have different images, and completes the set of six fox hunting plates as Schwerdt 252; label to armorial bookplate of J Cornish-Bonden, Black Hall to front paste down, with his presentation inscription to Herbert Cornish Bowden to front end paper, some light spotting to prelims and occasionally to plates, a vg large copy in the original grey paper covered boards with paper title to upper boards, original printed label to spine. There is the Edward Orme imprint to the plates, the engravings are of a good quality and cover all aspects of field sports and sporting dogs. A title often broken for the plates.
