Publisher's red ? straight-grained half morroco, with gilt title to the upper board, the binding unfaded with no chips or rubbing to the leather rare to find in this condition. The large paper edition later reprinted in 1894 in a small 8vo format Millais' monograph on the four primary species: Capercaillie, Blackgame, Grouse and Ptarmigan giving life history and sporting.
