extending to 41cm x 33cm, 1" to the mile, illustrated with margin pencil drawings of scenes by the river bank, salmon pools etc, maps loose in book form as issued, vg in brown cloth. The 1st edition was published in 1931 by B Lavars of Bristol, A 1933 edition was published by Bartholomew in landscape, where the map is landscape and attached to the binding. This edition is the 1931 1st but with the printed Bartholomew label over the Lavars imprint. The adverts to the rear paste down is for Bartholomew as is the imprint on the label on the front board.
