Volume VIII July to December 384+187 TEG, General title page and index, with contents page to each month the 6 months includes 12 plates of which 2 are folding and 4 coloured. After December follows "Selections" 187 pages +1 plate. Some age browning to contents, the plate to "selections" shows a small damp tide mark to top edge. Recently bound in half brown calf. Contrasting title labels to spine with gilt animal motifs. A scarce Indian published magazine covering all aspects of hunting and sport in India and elsewhere, natural history, horse racing, life in India, guns etc. Much on Tiger hunting. The British library notes the magazine was published circa1833-45 It superseded The Bengal Monthly Sporting in1833. The British Library appears not to hold a full set.
