Summary: 326 pages (7pp) pages table, (1) advert for William Battersby, (1) name of the fish this book treats, (1) advert, 2 engraved plates of fish, a clean copy bound in the original full speckled calf, some chipping and cracking to head of spine, a vg copy in the original state of the 3rd edn 1st issue, the plates are identical to that of the 2nd but with the printed name William Battersby at Thavies In Gate etc., running along the outer margin of both plates. "Chetham takes rank among one of the original writers of the sport, he is indebted indeed to his forerunners but acknowledges it".
