The first letter handwritten and dated 22.11.89 notes 2 drawings 1 of a pheasant and 1 of a goshawk and the need to start painting if they are to arrive by Christmas, both drawings present, the pheasant on cream paper landscape folio 42cm x 30cm shows a running cock pheasant in landscape centre fold. The goshawk on white paper full length of the bird on ledge 30cm x 21cm pencil title and measurements to both. Typed letter dated Sept 1989 discusses the drawing of the white phase gyrfalcon head study with note on the price and related painting. The third letter dated June 1990, a full page typed letter discussing a painting of a sparrowhawk and the preliminary drawing. A visit to see Dick Treleavan and other references to falconry and paintings. The drawing enclosed of a sparrowhawk and blackbird landscape, 30cm x 21cm with pencil title, slight fold marks. All 3 letters with Digby's address and signed in ink "Ron"
