Summary: 2 Vols, xxvii 103 pages, TEG, small 4to., for this edition all the original plates have been remade and carefully painted by hand from the last edition which the author revised; and to them have been added several new plates consisting principally of views of the river where the author loved best, also a new introduction by Sir Herbert Maxwell. Volume II consists of 9 thick card pages with cloth backed sunken mounts exhibiting 48 actual flies in sunken mounts, limited to 270 copies, this being number 136, signed by the publishers. Foxing to EPs and blank to verso, also foxing to the cloth mounts as usual. The flies complete and in vg condition. In the original 1/4 green leather binding with gilt fly motifs to spine and circular fly vignette to upper boards.
