Original limp red cloth with gilt title and roe deer and hound to upper board, light rubbing to head and tail of spine. The scarce subscribers edition, there were 73 subscribers many of which are libraries, there is said to be less than 100 copies of this edition published, some copies were bound in soft roan which faded and suffered from age, this copy is bound in the red cloth which may well have been a binding preferred by some subscribers. This is a vg copy of a rare title which is often found in poor condition due to the binding and often foxed. A title which rarely comes on the market.
