Summary: XVI 410 pages, 14 full page steel engraved plates including 4 of flies + woodcuts to text, bound in mid 19th century 1/2 dark green calf, red label each page interleaved with a blank sheet, some occasional notes on fishing in a legible hand relating to fishing from the late 19th century to the beginning of the 20th. Presentation inscription on dedication page to F.P.Nichols of Surrey St, Norwich on verso of title presentation to F.Nichols from Dad 1905. On the first interleaved page neatly written C.Farlow 191 Strand London. Farlow was a tackle maker and publisher, presumably he supplied this interleaved copy.
