XIII 91 pages, AEG, 4to, coloured frontis of Lugwy, North Wales on card. There are also 25 actual specimens of flies and fly making material in 22 oval mounts, some light foxing to text. The flies and materials are in very good condition. Original green cloth binding with gilt title and fish vignette to upper board with a background of rushes and mayflies in black surrounded by a black lines border with lily pads and fish decorations, gilt title to spine with 2 gilt mayflies, bottom corner edge showing shelf wear, a bright copy of a beautiful produced book. This is the first book to use actual fly tying materials and flies; it is said approx. 220 copies were produced.
